2/21/2023 0 Comments Incubus band demons![]() ![]() In 2001, Incubus became even more successful with the single " Drive" and their follow-up album Morning View which included the popular hits Wish You Were Here, Nice To Know You and Warning. The band earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself which spawned the popular singles Pardon Me and Stellar. ![]() Incubus has attained commercial success, reaching multi-platinum sales, as well as releasing several successful singles. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppell both of whom were eventually replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore respectively. Incubus is an American rock band from Calabasas, California. The film was considered to be lost for many years, until a copy was found in Paris in 1996. Esperanto speakers are generally disappointed by the pronunciation of the language by the cast of Incubus. The first, Angoroj ("Agonies") appeared in 1964, two years earlier. ![]() Incubus was the second feature film primarily using Esperanto ever made. The use of Esperanto was intended to create an eerie, other-worldly feeling, and the director has prohibited dubbing into other languages, however on the Special Features section of the DVD the makers claim that Esperanto was used because of perceived greater international sales. The film's cinematography was by Conrad Hall, who went on to win three Academy Awards for his work on the films Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, American Beauty and Road to Perdition. It was directed by Leslie Stevens, creator of The Outer Limits, and stars William Shatner, shortly before he would begin his work on Star Trek. Incubus is a 1966 black-and-white American horror film filmed entirely in the constructed language Esperanto. ![]()
